Valentine's Day

We had a wonderful toddler Valentine Cookie Party. It sounds crazy but it was wonderful and went very smoothly! I pre-baked half of the cookies so that they would be ready to decorate immediatly after they did the cut-outs with the other half of the dough. SO VERY MARTHA!!! I know! But it worked! I had four sheets already rolled out (one for each of them) and they did the cut-outs and put them on the cookie sheets. Then I wiped out the cooked cookies and all the decorations and icing and away they went. Kept them engaged the whole time! Wow, I know! The frosting was made so that it could be painted on instead of spreading (much harder to do for a toddler set of hands!). Worked great!

Then, Valentine's morning, Paul made us some heart waffles! Yum!
