Nona's 60th Birthday celebration - March 31st!

We gathered in Sarasota at the Albury household to celebrate Nona's 60th birthday. First we had a breakfast under the trees then headed to the Ringling Museum to get our family pics done and for a tour (Zane went home for a nap during the tour). After that we had some snacks at home then off to the Ritz for High Tea! After that Nona had a big surprise with an opera singer! (Zane wasn't much into opera music but maybe it will grow on him.) It was really an amazing day. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, NONA!

Zane hangs out in the kitchen all the time! He has a front row seat to everything!

An Easter package from Grandpa Dan!

Grandpa Dan sent Zane an Easter package which he enjoyed very much! It had a plastic egg head that grows grass for hair, a bunny/frog and 2 chicks that sing a tune (Zane and Dylan thought that was just crazy!), yummy good chocolate and cards (whick Zane just loved too!).

Daddy's Spring Break!

Paul had spring break last week and he got to enjoy watching Zane hang out at the water spouts. As you can see by the picture, he didn't want a drop of sun to touch the babe so he hovered over him to protect him from the rays.

Splish Splash

We went to a little splash park today at Vineyards Community and Zane had quite a good time! We met up with friends, Mindy and little Luci and splashed and lunched. Zane really loved playing with the little water sprays and his feet!

This is a look that Paul and I have never seen before this picture but it looks like one of those looks that we hear about that we will see again and again throughout his life.

Lazy Sundays...

Zane loves hangin' out in the hammock in the back yard. The weather has been perfect lately so we go out there early in the morning or in the evening (when the sun is not too strong... we are very fair people in this house!). He gets so calm when we are out there! He just loves to watch the trees blowing in the wind. It is great for when he gets really tense and cranky - I just take him to the hammock!
